Sliding mode control with observer for permanent magnet synchronous machine drives

<span lang="EN-US">This <span>paper aims to develop the sliding mode control (SMC) scheme in sensorless permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drives replace conventional proportional integral (PI) speed control. The SMC is formulated based on surface of error. And error corrected concept Lyapunov stability. designed with load torque observer so that disturbance can be estimated as feedback controller. vector technique which also known field-oriented (FOC) used split stator current into magnetic field generating part direct axis and quadrature axis. This done by using Park Clarke transformations. performance proposed tested under changes load-torque without for different commands. results prove produces robust performances variations speeds disturbances. effectiveness method verified simulated MATLAB/SIMULINK </span>software.</span>
